Left over fish pie, I have to make it again to take photos as it was gorgeously delicious and looked lovely too J

7.00pm Dinner at LYNDA’S

Cumberland sausages with cabbage, mashed pumpkin, cauliflower and broccoli cheese…it was delicious, she is an amazing cook and I am so feck’n lucky…I was really full but managed to shove down some vanilla, chia, coconut pudding with berries

 


So now Yay I am past 50 days of the 100 day challenge and my takeaways (yeah I know, lame food pun)  from the KETO lifestyle so far  are ...very mixed.  
It is easy to be on KETO if you can shut out the rest of the world ...but you can't...so things get a bit hairy and difficult.  
The world is full of restaurants, fast food, supermarkets, bakeries etc etc etc  
In all cultures meals have a large percentage of carbs, you can't escape from it so social eating has become a pain.  Finding something to eat in a cafe is stressful and I've fallen into a few traps of eating things that I didn't want too or mean too which kicked off cravings.  
Processed carbs are everywhere and in almost everything.   KETO is hard but not impossible so I'll just keep trucking along.

1.25pm Bacon, egg and a keto cheese scone smothered in butter…nom nom nom

 

Coconut chicken curry, with pumpkin, asparagus, cabbage and pepper with cauliflower/broccoli cheese…cheese sauce made with cheese, cream, cream cheese and parsley

It was so delicemo…

12.00 A massive bowl of chicken coconut curry with cauliflower cheese, yummy to the max!

Bacon, eggs, mushrooms in sauce and almond toast.  (I think I am totally over Bacon and eggs)

1.30pm Salmon salad, cucumber, tomato, pepper, spring onion, lettuce, boiled eggs, mayonnaise

7.45pm Burgers, salad, roast pumpkin with garlic salt and butter

Today I am going to eat when I am hungry and cutting back on carbs till dinner

Rissole and boiled egg.

12.37pm Keto Cheese scone

Failure Chicken Curry … we won’t even go there but it was a slimey mess so be careful when using psyllium husk for thickening...good for some sauces but not everything.  The taste was amazing but the texture was just *shudder* and this is from a person who LOVES karengo

Salmon and cream cheese, cheese on almond toast

Spag bol without the spag Keto Scone

I love spaghetti bolognaise and my son makes the BEST bolognaise sauce ever...but the pasta-less situation is a struggle, so until I get a spiralizer to twisty turn my zuchini into spaghetti I will have the sauce on a cheese scone mmmmmmmm tasty
