This week I noticed I was hungrier and I found that having Scott home over the long weekend was a real distraction. It is much easier to be stuck in my little world dealing with my own food and my own hunger issues than it is trying to look after someone else as well. I know this isn't Scott's issue, it's mine. The boys have been so kind and supportive, they have embraced a house virtually stripped of carbs, but they didn't ask for all the deprivation that incurs like no cheese, ham and tomato toasties and bunless burgers. They are always encouraging me and telling me how proud they are that I can do this. I really need to pull my head together, if I truly want to embrace these changes I have to be real about living in this world, where, lets face it, carbs are king. I have to - not for the first time in my life - be okay with being different.
